| Mrs. Clara Mitchell was born and raised in Sweden. She moved to the US in 1994 and is fluent in both English and Swedish. She completed her AA at Miami Dade College and also has an Associate in Early Childhood Credential from the American Montessori Society. She has over 16 years of experience in a Montessori classroom including teaching and assisting in Pre-K and kindergarten classrooms, as well as Lower and Upper Elementary classrooms. She and her husband have a grown son. Outside of her classroom duties, Mrs. Mitchell spends a lot of her free time outdoors. She even teaches swimming at a prestigious swim school in South Miami!
