..[Our] journey began with the disruption of the pandemic ceasing our daughter’s schooling here in Broward and us wanting to ensure the foundational principles of education was still a part of our daughter’s life. We enrolled our daughter at Atala as they had a virtual option and the school came recommended by family friends whom has children enrolled here as well.

Our daughter was a little apprehensive at first, but adapted with the help of [the teacher] making the environment fun, nurturing, and engaging. Throughout the pandemic year, we enjoyed watching the classes and admiring the continuous growth led by [the teacher].

We appreciate the leadership, respect, and hard work you have put in with all the children and tireless nights you devote to teaching. With you being one of the leaders at Atala, I’m confident that this is the principles and fundamentals that is instilled throughout the teaching staff at this institution and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Thank you again for all that you have done, and feel free to use me as a reference.

Respectfully,
Mr. & Mrs. Manwah, former preschool parents

“[Our son] is thrilled with his class and happy about school days. He is much calmer at home than he has been in the last six months and he is becoming more articulate about his feelings, his needs and his work…I am so grateful, and I eagerly look forward to [my son] spending more time in that magical space you and the rest of the clearly child-centered caring staff at Atala create.” Luisa Patino, former preschool parent

“My children have been with and instructed by various teachers at Atala Montessori from 18 months of age through 6th grade. The Montessori education my children received was top notch that encompassed all learning modalities and took care of the whole child. Communication with me, as the parent, was always ongoing and informative. Knowing my children were in good hands made it very easy for me to return to work without worries. We were all sad the day my children had to spread their wings into middle school but at least they were well prepared! Thanks for everything you do!” Dawn Southern Pearce, Curriculum Support Specialist, Division of Bilingual Education & World Languages, Miami-Dade County Public Schools
